BTEC Level 2 Travel and Tourism


Students at St Ivo are following the Edexcel BTEC Level 1/2 First Award in Travel and Tourism.

The BTEC First Award has two core units and two optional units which are delivered. One of the units is externally assessed by the exam board in the form of an exam. The other three units are assessed by the centre and verified by the exam board (portfolio work).

COURSE DELIVERY
Subject Teachers - Miss York, Mrs Morey and Mrs Bartlett lead the teaching of the course with regards to planning and delivering lessons, assessing work and ensuring that work is completed on time.

Programme Manager / Internal Verifier (IV) - Mr Chambers (HoD) is in charge of the course and will be sampling work from all students to check assessment

Quality Nominee (IV) - Miss C Marshall is the school’s quality nominee. Miss Marshall oversees all vocational course to ensure that standards are being met.
